Kari grew up in the Pacific Northwest and started her retail career in management with Nordstrom. She spent some time in the classroom teaching Middle and High school students and then went on to open her own business. For nine years she ran a Paper crafting storefront with 14 employees in Olympia, WA. She owns a patent for a “Crop Cushion” and is the author of 9 books. Her corporate career took off after selling her storefront and entering the world of K-12 Educational Publishing and services. For the past 15 years she has built relationships and provided curriculum (print, digital and professional development, PD) to School districts nationwide.
She considers her biggest accomplishment as having successfully raised six spectacular humans! After becoming empty nesters, Kari and her husband Scott relocated to Northwest Arkansas. Joining Legacy retail as a Project Manager, Kari is eager to learn about the industry and make an impact!
After hours you can find Kari teaching group fitness classes, running, mountain biking, paddleboarding, skiing (water or snow), reading or paper crafting.
